Timmy the Hyper Dan Bo Nim |
To the tune of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer |
|
You know Kerry and Karen, Lou and Carl. Vincent and Kim, Don and Brian. But do you recall The most hyper dan bo nim of all…?
Timmy the sugar-high dan bo nim Does a lot of weird training Somersaults and intense striking And soon an uber-cool handspring
All of his other classmates Used to gasp in shock and stare They’d never seen an old guy Fly so high up in the air
Then one Tuesday class sometime Kwan Jang Nim came to say Timmy with such energy! Won’t you just take it easy?
But Tim would never listen, And still he trains really intense. But we all love him anyways, Cause he’s so full of excellence!

The Saturday Woes |
To the tune of "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow" |
|
Oh the warm up inside is hurting And I forget the Korean wording I dropped my staff - down I go Got the Saturday morning woes.
My break falls are quickly failing And I find each time I’m bailing But I must continue yeah I know Got the Saturday morning woes.
As the class ends now I’m sore But it was worth it all again As I head for the old door I’m glad I got to see my friends!
I may have messed up my hyungs And my techniques were just flukes But I’m happy now as I go Maybe I don’t have Saturday woes!

Kuk Sool Wonderland |
To the tune of "Winter Wonderland" |
|
Ki haps loud - maybe louder In the class, with our founder Kuk Sool Calgary Is the place for me Learning, growing, having a blast!
As it snows we’ll be drilling Kicks and strikes are so thrilling I love it a lot It’s my favourite spot Learning, growing, having a blast!
In the dojang everyone is training Doing their best and doing great Outside it may be snowy, windy, raining But we’ll try our best not to be too late!
At our tests, we’ll be breaking Keep an eye on time that’s taking There’s lots to go through But I believe in you Learning, growing. having a blast!
Saturdays it’s fun to go to Pho Mai Everyone’s invited, check it out It’s so much fun just being all together And really isn’t that what life’s about?
Years go by, members changin’ People come, then go a’rangin! Kwan Jang Nim’s a rock We’re the sheep in his flock Learning, growing, having a blast! Learning, growing, having a blast! |
