	This photograph was taken at the end of the black belt grading test on November 10, 2007. Unfortunately, three students were not present for this group photo, including JKN Nico Breed. However, as you can see, like Topsy, we have "grow'd"!
	Our new first degree black belt is JKN Jessica Allan. The gentleman in the photograph above with his hand on JKN Jessica's shoulder is DBN Tim Allan, JKN Jessica's very proud father!
	JKN Tom Mazur obtained his first degree black belt March 15, 2008. If all had gone according to plan for this young man, he would have tested for this promotion in January, 2007. As it was, his study-buddies promoted without him. Nevertheless, instead of giving up, he waited for his chance to return to continue his training. And now, along with his fellow-first degree black belts, he has reached the end. Which is to say, he has reached the end of the beginning!
	KSN Morgan Freeman was unable to attend this grading test, due to work commitment.
	This photograph was taken on April 12, 2008. This is the nearest we have come to having a photograph with all students present! Unfortunately, a few were unable to attend because of personal commitments.
